Looks like an old R1 which is only around 140-150bhp, so not as quick as the modern litre bikes, around the same sort of performance as a modern 600, so i can well believe the Cossie passes it like that, especially considering its a 600bhp'er!
5 years ago i could take on dead race with 600 bikes, no problem, my car had then about 350bhp, but today, no way, bikes are so much faster today, it´s crasy.
I DO know a 600bhp cossie is quick, but not THAT quick, it has to be an old bike
Just had a look at all the comments on youtube. Whats with all the "thats not fair, try it against a 2009 R1" comments? Whats fair then? I would say stick it up against a bike from the same year as the car, 1986
the R1 has bottom end torque which helps its 0-60 but top aint tht good and will top out at about 170 ish but getting there aint tht good my mate owns one

You are taking the piss right ? there proper bonkers fast and will out accelerate 99% of things on the road
i timed my k6 gixer tho 0-170 took 17 secs but would not pull anymore what would a 600 bhp cossie do that in the cars fast but cause the bike is streetfightered that will slow it down loads the fairing makes a huge difference
R1's and GSX-R 1000's, and anything else like that are simply stupid fast, but on the road it is a different game as you have to take into account roads, weather, traffic etc, and it is a LOT easier to drive fast than ride fast!

not a problem if you spent the same amount of money on tuning the old bike as was spent on the cossie
i would have thought joining the straight the bike would have dissapeared before the car caught and passed it but that didnt happen for whatever reason????
