PMSL @ Tony & Steve...

Rich,

That,ll teach you to do all those Rolling Road runs...

Mine,s gone too, having an AP fitted as we speak, i thankfully changed my mind today from an Alcon to an AP... mind you, i,m only running stage 1 so could of fitted an original clutch in i guess ......

not luck steve you clearly have none of that
The back pressure trying to run 26 psi boost on a t3 .55 over size waste gate penny and aperture lifts it off it's seat with a -31

Had a alcon and only got over 4k miles out of it and that was on a stg3 2wd. I'm really impressed with the helix organic that i have on the esc. Went up to Turbosystems yesterday to map the car and it didn't slip that is with a t4 @ 30+psi and Tony driving.

So thats the real cause of the problem then?

Thought it had something to do with the actuator but steve wanted someone who knows what there doing to check it out properly for him

persoanally i wouldn't bother with the the alcon go for the ap 6 pladdle with thier cover , you might have to go hydraulic clutch tho as these are heavy fookers and you will either snap or stretch the cable

i had an alcon yrs ago it never lasted as long as the ap one tbh

Was your -31 new then?

Steve's has been on the car for a while now (5 years+) and was running a full hole of preload so fitting a new -34 has solved his problems perhaps a new -31 would of had the same result but not according to Tony.

hm, interesting thread... I thought to buy alcon for my 400hp sierra. Now I dont know what to buy At this moment I run with Ap organic+ford cover(SACHS) and it slip.
Can alcon now has worse quality then before? Or not heavy duty cover now in there kits?
