im looking at an escos adjustable rear beam and arms on ebay but im undecided if my project will be rwd or 4x4 ???

will this be ok for just rwd as well as 4x4? its going on a mk6 fiesta so mountings etc dont matter just i dont want to buy it and then go rwd and find i cant use it?

yes it will be fine only diffrence is the size of the diff

 

so what is better diff wise then? 4x4 or rwd beam?

iam going for the rwd diff if that helps as ive been told they are stronger than the 4x4 versions

ps - i have now sorted a shell
got a complete car still mot'd and tax'd etc for Ł900 delivered to my door

 

all that is needed to change it from a 4x4 diff to a 2wd diff is widen the mounts to fit the 7 1/2 diff in

 

if your going to all that trouble to make a one off car, why put crap suspension design on tha back, that was always the downfall of the sierra/escorts, dont carry the traits onto a newer car pal.

 

looking at using at widetrack group a rear beam and arms, are these still an as bad design?

 

better than std but its still semi trailing, and mega money if you can find a good one.
