Heres the facts...
In 1976, French film director, Claude Lelouch mounted a 16mm colour camera on the front of his Mercedes 450 SEL 6.9.
Leaving just after dawn he crosses the city on just over 9minutes, finishing just infront of Sacre-Coeur cathedral, meeting Gunilla Friden (ex Miss Sweden and his girlfriend) on the steps leading to the cathedral.
When he released the film in Paris, he was arrested straight away, and film banned from being shown in France.
Was later found out that the sound track is that of a Ferrari 275GTB, that had been dubbed over.
The guy had some balls to do it!
