timing on a cvh with a piper cam and pulley

timing on a cvh with a piper cam and pulley
got new a timing kit for my frst and am wondering do u just turn the pulley to the same mark as u would when doing a std cam and pulley?

Nope, you need a DTI and degree wheel, and time it to what Piper recommend.

where can i get one mate does this mean i need a pro to do the timing

you can do it yourslelf, look in machinemart for a DTI gauge, you can print of your own degree wheel. Do a search on google on how to time a cam.
