greys arent made anymore Blacks are

Blacks is newer technology

83lb blacks are a circa 500bhp injectors, greys are not

"apparently" Blacks have a better spray pattern, but not seen evidence of this personally

Blacks need no fitting kit

there is nothing wrong with greys, its just that blacks are newer, and are the choice of many of the big tuners

Siemens. Cheaper, fit straight in with no fitting kit, bigger.

No brainer IMO.

Do they (blacks) map easier if you don't mind me asking Stu?

I have some here so was wondering about changing the greys for them.

Cheers,

Andy

it will have a 4 digit number on the side of the injector

3102 = 55lbs
3145 = 72lbs
3105 = 83lbs

Presuming you mean the most comparatively sized ones which are the 55s, then absolutely no difference whatsoever mate.

There's nothing wrong with greys, they are a perfectly fine injector, though as said production will NOT be resumed on these.
The greys or 0 280 150 403 are still about, though not many new ones it has to be said.
There are 3(three) in the UK, and 1000 in Germany today.
It's certainly not worth swapping just for the sake of it, but obviously if buying new then I personally would go for an alternative to the greys, but up to each to decide, not sure which ones I'd go for make wise.
