Those ones are BF goodrich 225/55/15 mate, but thats not what I normally run with it.

Check out the camber, I didnt have any time to set it up for drag racing at all, was doing 8am - 5am just to get it there and ran out of time.

Still did a fairly respectable 1.89 60ft and a 5.37 330ft though.

Luca, yeah when I can stop the minor glitches like it going up in flames Im looking forward to seeing what it can do.

I reckon I can get it in the 1.7s to 60ft, and I really want to see a sub 5 second 330ft time from it too.

I'll probably try it with a little gas to get those though, once ive got everything else working as its a bit reluctant to spool the turbo in first and second as it rattles through them so quick, although a bit of antilag and launch might solve that without need gas, will have to see.

It doesnt "keep" catching fire mate, it just happened once.

As part of my inlet I have used a Jenvey independant throttle body setup and their fuel rail.

This rail is mounted with the intention of only ever seeing vacuum, on my car it actually sees quite a lot of boost, and this causes it to flex which allowed fuel to leak out.

Annoyingly it didnt do it AT ALL during 100s of miles of mapping including at far higher boost levels than I ran at the pod, but as is often the case, the moment you are were it counts, the gremlins start to appear!

Yeah its a shame I didnt get to actually run a whole quarter without a problem, but it was fantastic off the line, and it is awesome fun to drive, so overall im well happy with my whacky little creation!

Probably be well into next year before its anything like "finished" though reastlically as I get so little time to work on it.

Agreed, awesome 60ft!!

Could crack a 10 with launches like that and some decent power. Is it going to be running enough power to manage that?

I dont think 10s are on the cards, not with it being 1180kg as it runs.

Would probably need approaching 600bhp to do that on a 60ft of 1.89 at that weight I would imagine.

If I can get 11s (which seems very probable) I will be happy with that, its not really intended as a drag car, electric windows etc, lol

He sold the nova and is building a corsa instead now.

His target is 10s with the big floppy drag tyres on.

Nah, its gone as far as im going with it now engine and turbo wise etc, just a case of getting it all working properly and doing a final map on it now and then it is finished, might change a few other things, but the engine wont change unless I have a dramatic failure, in which case it will get a saab 2.3 as I cant afford to build another LET to the spec of this one at the moment really!

No mate, I have never personally competed in TOTB as I dont have a car quick enough for the class it would be in (ie my nova would be in the demo class with the 8 second drag cars, lol)
