I would be scared to take it out though, what if it got a stone chip, what if someone bumped into me......think it would stay in my garage with a blanket over it!

Don't know much on it, it's what I've ripped from ZSOC, BUT apparently the owner turned down an offer of Ł60k for it.

Fuck I'd of ripped his hand off.

Its not worth the hassle they're never on for long enough.........

There is a genuine reason tho something to do with cambelt possibly rubbing on the cover

cheers atleast i no i'll just wait for my next unsuspecting post victim to explain the good and bad between small and big turbo escos, apart from the "BIG" power issues they have between them.

i have no shame in asking people, about anything too

no shame in asking, i have time for people who want to learn, rather then those who think they know it all!

there is quite a few differances between the 2 models of escos, the smaller turbo version is limited to around 300bhp because of the size of the turbo & restrictions of the standard engine managment, the big turbo can be quite easily modded to 350+bhp

60k thats got to be a TOTAL bullsh*t rumour, like the "I know a guy that knows a guy that's great Aunt was a porn star and has 16 unregistered RS500's in a barn and doesn't know what they're worth.
Nice enough car I suppose and a good museum piece, but lets be honest here, who on this thread would walk past a standard white escort cossie and say "I want that car..." it's only because it's got low miles that it's appealing, as soon as you use it, it'll be like any other escort, so if you don't use it, what's the point it having it?
