Official TomTom on iphone
This has been one thing that bugged me on the iphone. I had TomTom on my N95, but the closest thing i could get on the iphone was an app called xGPS, which does the job, just not as good as TomTom.... Now it can.

The full kit looks pretty sound as well... not only for use with the tomtom side of it, but also the Dynolicious side of it too
edit: Just read that the suction cupped iphone holder not only holds it securely to the windscreen and dash, but also boosts GPS connection, charges, allows for hands-free calling, plays ipod thru stereo.... pretty mint.

That's really good! Cause xGPS is xCRAP! Tells me I'm going the wrong direction then loses signal just before I get anywhere!!

The software is to be released in app store 'from' the 17th of this month and the holder will be available later... no official dates said yet.
Yes it does play your music aswell! The holder has a built in loudspeaker for enhanced direction listening, as well as a built in microphone so hands-free is mint.
I got the N95 software off torrent, and yes you have to load the maps and speed camera files onto a memorycard (although N96 maybe different) Just google it. If not, i'll try and upload it to a server and link you

Its still under warrenty. They will replace it all free of charge. They even send you a cute little box to send it back in!
and will send it back in few days time....
then sell it on ebay and use the iphone thing!
I'm finally giving in by the way... getting that new 3S Iphone job!

TomTom customer service is just amazing! You get through to someone really easily... they are based in Ireland I think... and speak and understand English!!!!
and lets face it.... thats a novelty nowadays when most call centres and helpdesks are based in downtown bombay and are as useful as a chocolate teapot!
