Was at PVS at the weekend (sh1t show and i hate vauxhalls) and took the corsa down, raced a red Escos at the end and beat it

 

Well done, its about time a corsa won somthing

 

lol very good time mate! was the cossie standard? as thats a bit slow?

 

i never got to speak to the cossie owner so not sure on spec to be honest i think he missed 2nd cos his 60ft time is really good then its down hill from there lol

i know i still want an escos though, next year hopefully

From the title i thought it would be a "baiter" Chav claiming his 1.2 "blinged" corsa wooped a cossies ass on his local "1/4 mile" between maccyd's and Burger king in a 20 zone out side a school at 3:30 pm

At least youve got a decent engine in it and a good power to wieght ratio!!

 

If it beat a dragster would anyone care!

 

its my first car just never got rid of it whole family are ford nuts and regulary attend ford shows etc

as said above,you are a tiny weightless little car with a good engine so of course you would have a good chance of smoking it.well done though m8,looks nice for a corsa,should sell it an put it towards an escos lol

its still on a standard map, with a front mount intercooler, air intake modifications and front decat pipe id guess its 210-220bhp tops

its been featured in total vauxhall just waiting to hear what issue

 

Car was looking and sounding great all day mate, i think you raced my mate at one point in this.....

i didn't see an escos there, must of been blind!
Judging by that time, the cossie had a mare, that 60ft is the same time as mine and i did a 12.8.

 

cheers mate yeah i raced that astra was quite close off the line i just havnt got the power to get a good terminal speed

 

yeah, he was struggling to put it down! was running AO48's at 12 psi and it was still spinning, he did a 13.401 was his best.

 

good time that like, i was running about 15psi my mates 400bhp corsa was spinning all over he had toyo 888s on running about 10psi aswell! he only managed a 13.9

 

That's a good time mate, nice one Have you seen or do you know of a Magenta W reg Corsa turbo from Durham? Think he's been to Santa Pod a few times. Where abouts in Durham you from?

 

I wasnt dissing you just that 99.9% or corsas are either chavved up heaps of shite or womans run arounds so to see one thats actually tastefully modified and actually goes fast is a pleasant surprise.

 

a couple of corsas were shitting all over a couple of scooby's at york a few weeks ago, it's always good to see
