abs issues
right, my car obv has abs but on some road surfaces when breaking the abs sort of cuts in ans i loose braking sort of so have to take my foot off the pedal and back on again, ive had this in ford transits aswell and its a sort of grindy feel feed back comming from the pedal but,,, tbh its very very iffy when having a play that the abs trips in and basically turns off my brakes
i think its down to one wheel almost locking up that it happpens,,,, and since ive changed my pads on the front they are really grippy that it seems to affect the abs alot more than before
anyone else have abs issues like this or is it normal ?

when you abs really badly on a slippery surface, the abs systems just seems to have a fit and dont really slow you down, its like this on both my sierras. I think its normal but it can be very dodgy at times, although the abs has got me out of trouble a few times!
on loose surfaces or when you are on gravelly stuff, old school abs doesn't really work as well as it should
and don't even bother when you go over a bumnp and lose traction, then it goes a bit bonkers

doji there the issues ive got, my brake pads seem to be spazzing it out under braking now too so its getting worse and happenibg alot now aswell due to shite london roads and its scarey
