rust near bonnet hinges?

i removed my scuttle panel today to give it a paint, and found rust near the bonnet hinge,on the bulk head, anybody else had this trouble?
whats best way to sort it?

No but I've got new inner and outerwings both sides, there was only a slight amount of surface rust there before though.
Doesn't look a fun area to do either.
