Had a day off today so I thought it would be a shame not to have my prides and joy out and have some pics. Hope you like them.















They are utterly different animals to drive, but both great in their own ways.
Anyway, any comments gratefully received.

These pics were all going well til someone wanted to come the other way down this single track road. Well I wasn't going off the road for him in the Cossie so he had to back up all the way to the junction! He wasn't impressed though.

The flaps do actually look really nice in the flesh, and they protect the body from stonechips too. Glad you like the cars generally though.

Thanks mate. Depends what you mean by 'a pure Ford nut' really. If you mean do I buy exclusively Fords then yes, pretty much. If you mean do I like to leave them standard then not really, it's a real challenge for me not to mod the ass of the car. But seeing it in pics like this I do wonder whether to leave it alone because there's so few standard looking ones around, and I guess in the future it'll be the standard ones that command the money. Although if I did mod it I'd keep all the standard bits anyway so it could be turned back to standard.

Re the Mondeo, they are so good from the factory I'm definitely going to leave that alone, I don't believe there are really any mods that would make it better for what I need it for.

I do indeed. I've lost count of the number of Fords I've had. I've had a few other things along the way but always come back to Fords. The Escort Cossie was always the car I wanted to own.
The daft thing is the Mondeo is a much better car as things have come a long way in car engineering since the Cossie came out, but I just love the Cossie to bits.

 

I know what you mean mate.My mrs has a little mk5 fiesta ghia and its just so smooth on the road compere to the cossie.I dont think the 17inch wheels on the cossie help much though lol.

 

Am the same about our lass's c-max regardless of its dents n scratches my 3dr is a little rogher to drive but so much fun.
