'98 Escort 16V Si
Hi, I have recently brought a well looked after Escort, which I am more than happy with. It looks good, runs well and is over taking the girl-friend in the joy league!
However, it runs really well on short journeys and is a joy to drive, but on longer journeys it seems to lag a bit when in need of acceleration. wanting a little more speed between 2.5 and 3 thousand revs its unresponsive. I have to put the pedal to the floor at which point it jumps back to life when it gets over 3 thousand revs.
Under 2.5 thousand revs its seems to have been fuelled with Kangeroo juice.
Its my pride and joy and a thrill to own.
