I am trying to find out roughly how much the above turbo might be worth 2nd hand.
It is not an off the shelf item as it is fitted with WRC bearings which appaerntly reduce both lag and surge issues.
I am looking at the possibility of selling this along with my Pectel T6 V8 (see thread https://passionford.com/forum/ford-r...15-pectel.html ) as I am taking a different course with my engine and obviously would have to raise the necessary cash.

Errrr.... not sure - I will try and get a picture posted ASAP.
THis turbo, due to the special WRC bearings, cost me Ł1850 + VAT.
I asked for the full spec but this was not given to me as it is a bit of a secret apparently.
I have been told before that it should fetch Ł1000+

To be honest Tommy would not tell me either, all I know that my exhaust housing has been modified to some degree.

Mine is internally gated and now looking for external gated version.

What size housing do you have on yours?

 

I bought a TFMS roller bearing T4 off eBay a few months back,mine has a .57 internal gated exhaust housing and .70 compressor housing.
I fitted it 700km's ago and i think it's a great turbo,miles better spool-up and boost compared to my old T3/4 .63,.60 Mountune 360 degree thrust bearing jobbie.
I paid,posted to me here in Italy, Ł1050.
Does your turbo include the oil restrictor and unusual GT-30/35 coolant banjo bolts?.

 

Not too technical I'm afraid, so can't answer that at the moment. I will post up pictures ASAP and try and find out more.

 

I'm still trying to get the pictures, but this turbo is indeed externally gated.
Due to information and interest I have had, I am putting it up for sale at Ł1450 o.n.o
