Im rebuilding my 3dr cosworth and im up to the part of putting the ht leads on , the thing is i cant find the paper i wrote the position of the leads on the dizzy cap and im wondering which one goes where on the dizzy cap . Its an angled cap . If anyone knows or can help i would be gratefull .

With the cap pointing towards rear of car it is no4 closest to the engine, then no2, then KING LEAD from coil slightly lower down, then 1 then 3 nearest the inner wing.

it that going clockwise around the cap starting for top right tabs .

 

You said it was an angled cap, in which case the angled plugy bits should point straight back, so standing at the fron of car looking down at dizzy, it goes from left to right, can't remember whether the dizzy turns clockwise or counterclockwise, as don't use cap on mine, so don't do this anymore, sorry, but just check rotation if wanting to know for straight cap, will still be 1342, starting at nearest one at tdc.
