Afaik, they don't have one, the power to the switches comes from ignition source, that was how it was on mine, found no relay, had a good look, as converted all mine to one touch.

Right,my windows have stop working,checked the fuse and the power going to it and its ok,took switches out and there no power to them,have you got a wiring diagram i can look at? sold my manual on ebay when i sold the mk1 escort
As said theres no relay just straight fused power supply, are all windows faulty?
It could be the regulator if its just one window.

Yes all windows are dead,i put a live straight to my window switch so i could get it up,its worked just need to find out which wire coming in for the switches is the main live,and maybe run anther wire in
Yep all sorted now, ran a new live to the wire, and windows are up and running again, i still would like to trace the original wire to see why there is no power there,but for now its all sorted

I had this situation with the front heated screen live to switch dissappeared, but bugger taking the dash out just for this, just jumped across from rear screen live!!
