Mate of mine is a kitchen and bathroom fitter. One of his customers was a mate of a mate of mate sort of thing so my mate said he would sort the kicthen for him at a mates rates price. This chap then stiffed my mate for £600 after the work was complete.

To my mates utter delight the guy phoned him on Monday as his Oven had packed up and the Candy repair man needed the receipt for the oven befor he would carry out any repairs. Seeing as my mate got stiffed for the money he held on to all the documents for the kitchen and the appliances.

My mate was gobsmacked the guy had the cheek to ask for th ereceipt for items he hadn't paid for. Strangely he was told to jog on

I had a similar experience.

sold my house to a complete **** he wanted everything and complained about anything, kept me hanging on and then forced me out when I had nothing arranged, as it suited him. To55er.

anyway 5 months later he phoned me to ask for receipts to a new shower as part of a 10K bathroom refit I had done - needless to say I kept letting him leave messages until he gave up.
and also I sold at the height of property prices and downsized - so he has lost a bundle on what he paid me for it.

it is true "what goes around comes around".
