One New Focus RS Written Off!!! (Pics Added by Little_Hoss)
Was down Alperton Ford today and was having a chat with one of the Sales guys who is a good friend of mine. He told me that one of the Managers at Alperton had his New Focus RS written off by Drunk driver who hit the car, Spun it and then into a Ditch.
So that's 3999 left for us Brits. Lovely!

was speaking to the ford guy at central day( the blue one on FF stand)... he said ford didnt have any spares for the focus and if anyone crashed one it would take ages to fix.... stood right behind us was matt lewis motorsport...selling a set of focus rs mk2 wheels...priceless..lol

Nightmare.I got told off one of the ford workers who was at central day with the blue focus RS on the fast ford stand that they are only bringing 4000 over here and if they sell they are gonna make more of the RS,s.

I was watching a drift programme yesterday which was an American show, they were using race fuel at 10 dollars a gallon and the narrator had the cheek to make it sound as though that is expensive!
On topic, the RS is a nice car an all that but what does it matter if one has been written off? It just means an ST driver gets some nice bits for his car out of it!!

I suspect in the current climate, if ford are making money selling them they will make however many people want.

What in your mind is a proper "RS" then
4x4 - only two RS's have been 4x4 and that can be argued they are basically the same (also rs200 but does that really count for the average joe)
RWD- old escorts a sierra saff and 3 door
FWD - RS1600i, S1/S2 escort turbo, Fiesta turbo, fiesta 1800, escort rs2000, focus RS blah blah
Cosworth - Sierra saff, 3 door and escort cosworth
With all these variations im interested to hear what a true RS is
