Default Wireless colour CCTV

Looking to get something sorted out that's not too expensive.

Need 2 x 1 camera that are colour and preferably wireless.

Can get away with having one hard wired. The other has to be wireless.

Looking ideally to locate one inside of a house facing out of windows and the other mounted externally. Both can be inside if need be.

Both need to be good at night time for at least 10-15 metres (or thereabouts) although there are security lights to brighten the place up a bit more. There is power sources at both locations

The only other thing I can think of is been able to record on either one if I need to.

I can't really think of any other functions at the moment but if anyone knows of any, then shout up so it only needs to be done the once

There's power sources for both where there going to be put.

What you quoted me on was meant to read:- 1 camera can be hard wired as in cable to back of tv and the other has to be wireless transmitted.

Hopefully that'll make sense now?

Have a look in the Argos catalouge for a rough guide bud......

not sure about recording facilities. You need a hard drive recorder with a big memory.

I have a camera on the rear of my house to the TV wireless but it's not recordable at the mo.

It cost me £200. Can get pic if you want later on as I'm at work.

I've just bought and installed one of these:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/SENTIENT-WEATH...3A1%7C294%3A50

Works really really well, the nightvision is very clear, has sound, and the recever can run upto 4 camera's!
I use my PC with this software:
http://www.zonetrigger.com/motion-detection/

to monitor 24/7 and record only when motion is detected in my specifed zone. Also need one of these to hook up to your PC:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/USB-VHS-TV-to-...3A1%7C294%3A50

Or just use an old VCR or direct into your TV!

A quick update.

I tried this over the weekend:-

http://www.maplin.co.uk/module.aspx?moduleno=224315

It was totally shit. The picture was more B&W than colour. It was real easy to set up and that was the only plus to it. I'm not sure how a 2.4 would differ to this one?

I bought this one to replace a wired one:-

http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?ModuleNo=228195

The pictures pretty good as well.

I looked at some of those on Ebay, etc but chose Maplins as it's not far from me. They told me to buy and try any of them and if there no good then take it back (subject to still been sellable).

The IP one's sound good but I want to just flick a button on the tv to watch what's going on ....
