Put a thread up yesterday as I have been really struggling to find somewhere to put my trailer. You know the drill, you will help your mates out anytime but as soon as you want to borrow a bit of their drive or garage space they aren't bothered.

I generally keep it in my garage but I needed it out the way so I could get my Calibra V6 in there so I can get cracking on it as I want it sorted for PVS at the beginning of June.

Anyway, literally within 5 minutes of posting up Jacko had offered somewhere to keep it and Beefy had also said he might know somewhere if Jacko couldn't help.

I've never met Jacko before until today and have briefly spoke to Beefy at a Cleveland RSOC meet a few years back but it is nice to see that there are some genuinely nice blokes on this site.

Yes there are real nice people on here,they far outwiegh the tossers and when the chips are down thers always someo9ne on here who will help in most cases

Its a no brainer really, if you have spare space you are not going to need, then I'd 100% offer it to someone if they were stuck.

Hell, I just offered my house/spare bed to a mate recently who is having some difficulty.

Guess not everyone is the same

 

Put it this way bud, i've got a mate who brimmed his garage with stuff for work and couldn't move at all. He then brimmed my garage with stuff for his work as well including a large trailer he uses, his quad bike and a go kart. Didn't pay any rent for it, just had a spare set of keys to come and go as he pleases.

Same mate now has his own unit and yard, plus a container at a park just round the corner from my house and his garage at home is empty.

I got a firm NO when I asked if I could put the trailer in one of THREE locations.

Twat. Needless to say im ignoring the ungreatfull little c**t at the moment.
