Well it finally happened, Yums back on the road


Would like to say a big thanks to the following people

Mark Shead, Rod, Miller, JB, Si B, Dean, Chip

Also Helen for not seeing me in 3 weeks

Picked up YUM from Marks on Sat then went home to pack for it 1st drive to Somerset, all ok just needed a few bits tightened and ok. Just a couple of evening now just to finish of a few bits then the ring on Thursday

Not running a boost controller at the moment so its only about just over a bar so l can get some milage on Yum for Mark then to turn it up and strap it to the rollers and see how close we can get to the 711bhp engine dyno figures

Also a thanks to Martin who tried to Sabotage (Joke) by not telling me to mod a part that he sent me, but hey just phoned him up and it was sorted

I'm properly looking forward to the first 5 minutes of being in it on the way to germany, not so sure about the rest of the way though, we'll be deaf when we get there

Awesome to see it back on the road, it certainly turned a lot of heads when you parked it up outside pizza hut when we went for food, i dont think Ive ever seen so many people appear from nowhere all at once to stare into an engine bay

 

I bet it's fookin awesome mate

We cant all at once, Im getting booted out of my nice comfy seat in Si B's evo for the european leg of the journey and Helen is going in there while I go in the escos.

Si - Was gutted you were busy on Sunday, I was dying to get in the car and drive her but was nervous i would get lost so thought could drive over to you, then at least I knew kinda where I was going as would have had a tom tom to follow

think the top speed guys may have to get a new top speed place now, brunters has clamped down on noise big time !

i couldnt rev the old mans car past 7k last time we were there, they say its not worth the 100k is cost them in court every time for people to do a bit of testing
