Saff cossie 4x4 front diff seal.

It might sound like a daft question but i take it there is a seal between the front diff and the sump.Is it an O ring or is it silicone sealer.

Thanks mate.Ive just got an oil leak on my car(shock)and i was thinking that it could be coming from here.It is defo engine oil.
