Unlike some that have been up for sale for half a year

Shows if you have a nice car someone will snap your arm for it, if its like any other it wont shift.

Is it an Sti wagon you're looking for? If it's just a UK Turbo, I've seen a few pretty decent ones for just over 3K.

Just edited with another link too.

I'm looking for a mint low mileage 99/00 saloon with under 60k on the clock at the moment.

Sorry Tiff JDM = Japanes Domestic Market.. Import in other words.

Mines sold mate... Friday the guy and picked it up..

Careful with the imports though mate, they do suffer from DET because of the MAF , wrong fuel in unmapped cars etc..

Check the clutch in them, the standard brakes are pretty gash too, gearbox is pretty much on borrowd time with anyhting over 300ft/lb, but as said, if you,re buying standard that shouldn,t be a worry..

Tiff, silver one in the link, looks & sounds a proper car, worth a viewing if you can get contact with him..

Edited to say, 60k miles is the BIG exspensive service too Mark, so have a word, see if it,s been done, belt etc..

Staffi is right, an import Sti wagon would be better spec than a UK Turbo. But as he says, they come into this country set up for jap fuel(100+ RON), so if you buy a car which has been in this country for 4 years for e.g running around on UK fuel you're asking for trouble.

In that case you ideally want to buy a car which has been enthusiast owned and mapped as soon as it got the the UK, or buy a fresh import and map it straight away.

It's people that don't do the above that end up with knackered engines, and then complain that they are made of chocolate!

Cheers, it was ordered through a dealer in Belguim, there's a few year 2000 sonic blue saloons floating around that are euro imports but I think I've only ever seen 1 other wagon in years of looking. This one came up for sale when I was looking for one for my mrs about a year ago and it was literally 2 miles from my house!

Being a euro import it's uk spec and has the key immobiliser etc, cheap as chips to insure. I'm pretty sure sonic blue wasn't even an option for uk dealers in 99/00, certainly the only ones I've ever seen have been euro sourced cars from new.
