Default cossie misfire.

My escos has developed a really bad misfire after being on the motorway in the pissing down rain yesterday. Whats the chances of this being the map sensor? It does it at idle sometimes but mostly when it comes on boost, ive checked all the electrical connections i can find. If it was the map sensor would it idle rough? Thanks. Matt.
