Default RR day at Torque of the devil

Our club had a small gathering at TOTD yesterday to blow out the cobwebs on our cars after the winter layup.

Just thought i'd share my results, which I know are not jaw dropping when compared to anything with a turbo and would not excite most people on here but they made me happy

Not done much to the engine since I was last on the rollers at Power Engineering, but It made more torque and less HP this time

186.2 FWBHP - 212lbs/ft on gas

and

156.8FWBHP - 149lbs/ft off gas

Heres the printout

and here's a vid of the first attempt on N2O that they stopped as the car tried to leave the rollers, and they had to add some more straps

I think i'll be keeping this car for a while Alex, hell, it owes me soo much i'll never break even selling her

GavStyli, its a WON system with approx jetting for 50bhp, tho it made just 30bhp on the rollers but I think the bottle was nearly empty as I had a bit of a play on the way to TOTD

Its triggered by a WOT micro switch, soon to be a TPS switch, so keeps firing even when the limiter hits which cuts the sparks so I dont think it will damage the engine, but it will waste gas until I snatch the next gear, if there is one available

Ultimately I would like to get a digital progressive controller from WON and take proper control of the whole system

Good results that !

Does the car run a air flow meter ? if so hitting the limiter can cause the hot wires in there to be damaged or even a inlet backfire so I wouldn't advise it if you can avoid it.

No air flow meter JB, just a MAP senser

Good to know about the air flow senser trouble though in case someone I know has probs!

The Maxextreme is top of my list, just got to convince the Mrs its a must have item
