hi there, i got rid of my car before i did the job but i was informed by various people that it was pin 8 on the blue plug and 4 on the ecu. if you do it would you let me know if it works as i have an escort cl estate in my garage with gti clocks and dead rev counter so am planning to do the job myself sometime soon.

Nice one, thanks for the reply, hope to spend some time today in the dashboard due to the snow stopping me working.

WAHAAAAY. Just got out from behind the steering wheel (3 hours). white dials and new white clock fitted and believe it or not the rev counter WORKS ! no extra wires at all. Must have loomed in all necessary wiring to late mk 6 models for the sake of it.
good luck with your estate. Paul.
