Hi all i own a escort cosworth jewel violet monte standard with low miles
just 2 probs and help needed ,when it runs the idles rough ,also misses a beat now and again while driving and the fuel warning light keeps flashing and also the fuel guage reading keeps going up and downneed expert help here peeps as would like to sort her myself

Fuel guage sounds like the sender in the tank could be fubard. Not quite sure on your other problem could be any number of things there is alot of people more technically minded on here that will be able to offer advice

sounds to me like a idle speed controll valve take it out and give it a good clean with carb cleaner this will might help in investigating the problem without a costly guess

the fuel problem cud be a faulty sender unit check that ur getting a constant feed to the sender and not intermitent . check the multiplug for corroding
