Default Question to 4wd sapphire owners

If you pull the handbrake while cornering does your car lock the rear wheels? Mine doesn't just slowing down... Handbrake force is really good since it can hold the car to a big downhill easy. 2wd car can lock easily the rear wheels so I am thinking that the 4wd system keep the back wheels turning since the front are turning. Standard rear brakes and 17in wheels.

I used to have a 2.9 xr4x4 with the same MT75 gearbox and the handbrake used to lock the rear wheels, not sure what damage I was doing to the centre diff though

I tried only once for fun on a wet area but the wheels didn't lock thats why I was asking... I am not lunatic to do handbrake turns: I put my foot down and turn! Obviously the center diff is in good condition so it forces the rear wheels to turn instead of locking I guess...
