Default What 1 car do you regret getting rid of?

For me it would be a "dodgy history" ERST.

Was my 1st one, probably around 180bhp, and it was awesome.

It had no spoiler, I ended up managing to find a 90 spec and fitted that and got the Escort RS Turbo sticker from ford.

I remember it feeling great when I had that badge on the back

I cleaned it up a treat, got full samcos everywhere, found some BRAND NEW 17's 5 spoke for it, looked the part drove the part.

I then had the cossie bug. I had someone come over to me to see if I was selling it (I wasnt)

A chat to Spadge and a deal later, I was driving a 2WD saff coss with 4x4 cooler, greens and a std t3, probably around the 320bhp mark.

I had cossie blinkers on at the time, and it was gooood!!

I find out later that the car we had cherished was wrote off by the said 19yr old (within 2 weeks), sold my cossie (always hated the shape compared to s2's) and moved on.

I then bought the s2 in my sig, was minty mint no question about it, ie as if it left the factory it was that good.

Took car into NMS for water injection and a remap (was on aftermarket management - DTS)

£8k later the car was ready to drive <<< DONT DIG NMS ABOUT THIS there was LOTS of issues

Rebuild from bottom to top was needed, cossie management, b&q wiring was used on the initial build which the original owner knew about

The car then was awesome, driving to a car show I broke the gearbox, it had a quaiffe diff, but std internals

I then had no money, was out of a job, and needed to pay for the bricks over our head. So I broke it ...

I made around 8k breaking it I think, which paid for the rebuild ...

SOOOO wish Id had the money to keep it, no-one will find another like it

Its in a good home tho, just FUCKIN WISH id done more trials in it

My Evo,

Loved it to pieces but the wife had grown tired of it and having little wanks try and race her all the time, had it up to 380bhp with ALS and Launch Control was awesome,

Sold it for good money and brought my Porsche, which does not give me the smile the Evo did, l will be buying another soon though

My Evo 6 TME!! It was the best car i have ever had! Sold it as it was never used and just sat on my drive all the time for fear of it getting ruined as a daily drive. I couldn't afford to run two cars then so it had to go. But would have it back in a flash now!

I bet AJ regrets selling his too!!!!

Mike i had it about 8-10 months all in. It was just sat on the drive barely used as i didn't want to clock the miles up and ruin it in my work car park on the sea front. I just wish i could have afforded a run about aswell back then as i would have kept it! Shame really as i could afford to run two cars now!!

My last Fiesta Turbo, built from a mint mk3.5 shell and really nicely done, I broke it to buy a mk1 escort I saw and fell in love with, which sadly got nicked.

I miss my old R5 GTT so much, most fun car I've ever owned, never failed to put a smile on your face, running nigh on 200bhp in a tin match box, I miss it, had real character.

Yeah i guess you could say it's a family car

I wont be doing any track days for a while though until Ella is older so it would be wasted again! I'll get another toy when the time comes, i'm liking the Audi Q7's at the moment for a family car!!!!
