Default 1,6 efi pistons

hi all . took my xr3i cabriolet out for a spin saturday and the engine let go on m40 . have taken head of only to find a big hole in piston no 3 . just wondering why this might have happend also ive looked at top of pistons to see if there std 2 of them have got no 2 on and to have no 3 on but no sign of sizes just a few numbers can any body tell me what to look for

did it jump a few teeth on the belt? or did the cambelt snap completely. not sure about the markings

no idea what nos mean but cant see someone reboring one cylinder , thers a guy with a set of pistons on ebay at the mo
