Escort RS2000 EGR
Hi there. Got a Mk5 rs2000 which i am keen to make faster. So far i have a cat back stainless system ( cat will be removed after MOT next month) and a K&N cone filter.
A friend of mine suggested that removin the EGR should be my next job. Does anyone wanna tell me how to go about this? Is it an easy job?. Cheers in advance for any help

Doubtful as a performance aid, normally removed from cars as they go wrong, it is only used under certain conditions so the engine ingests some exhaust gasses to cool the combustion chamber temps to reduce NoX.
Don't know on your model but when removed on certain fords can go into LOS mode, so you must keep the lecky bit connected.
