does anyone know if the front wheel hubs of a mk3/4 escort are interchangable as i have a problem with the hub i got on my car.it will not hold the shock in place and the shock will move in the carrier.tried to tighten the bolt which stopped the problem for a while but it looks like it has started again

 

mk3/mk4 hubs are interchangeable, but beware the early 80-82 hubs, which are different in geometry.
