Too many posts.. I need a life!!

Getting the car ready for Classic Ford next month, i'm a couple weeks behind in my progress, but everything has been going smoothly.

Put the dizzy in today as I was just about to get the cambelt on etc,,,
tried to turn the dizzy shaft to line up the aux drive/tdc mark on dizzy and it wouldnt move. took the dizzy out and checked the gearing that was fine,,, put a socket on the oil pump drive and The Oil PUMP Is completely seized.???
Gonna have to drop the sump and have a look as to whats going on,,, my only thought is maybe the top plate cover is on too tight,, but i bought the oil pump bran new and just fitted it onto the engine.

Thanks mate,, I almost lost the will to live today, as i had to use engine crane to hold engine up, but the car needed jacking cos it too low for the crane arms to get under,,
anyway after tedious hours on my back i got the pump out and found the rotor to be binding against the sidewalls, So new pump ordered. Cant do nothing til it arrives .
