My westie is running a Mk2 rear axle setup, what kind of power will these take in std guise and what are the best upgraded components? LSD, Quaife Half shafts etc?? Looking to run 250bhp without shelling out loads of money.

In which case, what torque are you expecting for that BHP figure?

 

Yes its the English Axle. It will be running a 1.6CVH with around 230bhp & roughly the same torque.

 

Good chance it will break with that power and torque,you could buy uprated shafts and diff but it would probably cost more than buying a atlas and not be as strong,fit a atlas and will wont need to worry

 

ps how you get 230 bhp out of a 1.6 cvh? turbo?

 

Its running cosworth management, CVH35 Cam, Custom Water Cooled Inlet Manifold and charge pipes, Chargecooler etc etc

Am i right in thinkin the Atlas is from the Capri? What are the differences between the two axles??
