Drivers side window was left down before the engine and battery were removed from the car and I need it back up, the loom has been cut too. Anyone give me a dummy style guide on how to do this before I blow myself up?

just power up the window motor bud!take the door card off,un plug the motor and do it tht way

 

Connect a 12volt suply straight to the motor connect the earth then louch the live on to the pins one will be up amd one will be down
