Cleaned the tina engine bay today ready for refitting the motor on friday..







Motor completely rebuilt , even got some new stainless vernier bolts made to match the big ones I bought from scottie

have you had the airflow tested on that manifold? the swedish inlets are tapered to even the airflow out to each cylinder but yours isn't

 

Basically same spec, long studded 200 block,6.8/1,carillo's,BD 16's,ported

head ,wrc head gasket,T4, etc......

This time it will be on dta management,4x1000cc injectors,als, launch, my

own modified inlet,proper 70mm throttle body.

Love this tina, and i remember it coming out of Lakeside sideways back in the early 90s,, it was tasty then!

It will be good to see this back out on the road being driven hard . I remember regularly seeing this at the Guildford Cruise many years ago. 1 of my all time favourite old school cars.

 

Whats this pipe under the inlet tubes...?is it to help equal the pressure ...?

im sure this was the car i see in Darrens place a good few years ago (escort-tec) ? looks well nice I tried getting some of them cam pully bolts but for the pair they kept bidding and going over Ł30+ on ebay so gave up.

Still remember drooling over it many years ago when in was in the mags!!

 

Been working on it last couple of days, turbo, alternator and wiring for

starter/alterntor connected,all of which a right pain to do, also picked

up and refitted the new modified prop.......



Gotta drag the tina round a mate of mines this week end to modify the

intercooler outlet as well......





Unfortunately not a lot I can do until then as all of the rad and i/c are

mounted together.
