FYI I dont/wont use Ahmed anymore
Would use Karl from now on, but he is always soooo damn busy
A collection of pistons and bent valves collected over many years
from 3 different meltdowns and a cam belt failure!
I should add, ALL using standard engine managment with too little knowledge (at the time) and too much boost.
No meltdown for over 3 years now - must be doing something right at last

IMO Any tuner who claims that they have NEVER had a meltdown is
either lying, an amnesiac or just hiding the truth to look good !
Its all part of the learning process !!!
Meltdowns happen for many reasons NOT just bad mapping.
Too many things external to the engine can cause these random aluminium sculptures.
E.G Fuel pump failure, wastgate jamming, map sensor failure etc......
