Saff Cosworth Questions
As I dont know alot about them like some of you plp Im interested to know the following.......
Basicly next yr I mite be in the position to buy a saff cosworth .Now which one would be the best ie 2wd or 4wd ,is the 2wd cheaper to get hold of parts like gear boxs etc or isnt there much in it between the 2.
Was leather available in both or just in 4x4s?
And if i ran it around standard bhp mayb up it later on to say 250bhp.would i have much trouble wiv the standard engine parts, and at which point do they let go.
Sorry for all the questions

cossies are only unreliable if they dont get the correct treatment for em when they go wrong (ie bodge em and sell on )
also they are at a price now where people can buy em and cain the living tits out of em and then sell on when thee bored or banned
where abouts ya from as if ya wanna test one out and ya local, ill left ya take mine for a gentle spin, just be carefull with it

Hes from Chetenham ginge, hes been witness to me hooning round like a madman but he never actually went in my car, but he seen what they can do
Get one Daz
Id say 2wd as i like sliding round everywhere like an idiot, as you well know
I dont like 4wd, but its good, just more likely to break somthing (just less likely to crash it, lol), ant not as fast (as long as you got grip!) casue of more transmission losses in 4wd.
Leather is available on both.
Youl be VERY lucky to find a std one mate, most will be at least stg1 chipped which is 270bhp. 300-330bhp on green inj and 23psi is usualy about as reliable as a std car if the engines good n its looked after, and can get that power on std turbo n engine.

all i can say is get1. 2wd is great on dry days (and slightly wet
) but for a every day car i prefeur my 4x4 as its easy 2 drive lol and its predictable, where as 2wd can be a bit unpredictable at times if your not paying attention, or not used 2 big power rear wheel drive cars
Cheers lads
I was gonna look for a 2wd anyway but just wasnt sure.Ive never been in one well apart from the blokes over the road .but thats a none runner cam belt went about 3yrs ago and its been sat there ever since.shame as he is the only owner of it.got it from bristol street when the 4x4 first came out .
Had a sit in it the other day and it dont seem a massive car like i thought.
All i can do is save me ŁŁŁ and sell both rs 2000 next yr and see wots on the market.

But if you do go 2wd, be very careful as they are a handful in the damp/wet
