Nutter has got to do 185 . mine did 183 with 50 less horses so it should be on. Thats if hes got the Horses of course , Tuesday will tell.
Have a Local friend coming with a claimed 603bhp in a RWD Escort never entered anything before, that should run 190 & ive told him Brunters dont lie.

Whats the RST record speed then i really dont know as ive never taken an interest in these cars. Does Sunnys 178.8 count or is he in another category.

Rod - Christian holds the record for the original 1.6 8V CVH engine with just over 160 at brunters. Sunny's 178.8 is impressive, but thats from a 2litre 16V.

Sunny does have the RST record - simple as god you even got a mk3 fiesta with a zetec 16v from the factory

 

Is that a pop at me?? I hope not, because my car was built and mapped by myself and Gary in our own time and funded by myself and Beccy. It's not a massive budget car, just a decent package of bits that seem to work reasonably well.

I will be there. The car will do whatever it does, I'm not going to make any predictions. All I know is that it feels TONS better than it did last year.

If I put down another 160+ run, I will be over the moon.

It's all about who does what on the day, not who can shout about what the car *might* do on a Public Forum.

The other thing is that I won't be running the car any different to what it does every day. We could wind the boost up to 2.5 Bar and throw some race fuel in it, but thats really not my style.
