Default Clutch cable

Changing my clutch cable, and having a nightmare trying to get it back in the quadrant. Anyone with tips on how to do it? Thanks.

its a right pain in the arse mate. undo it at the gearbox end so you've not got to have much "pull" on the cable, just take the slack. long nose pliers to pull it through and take the slack at the same time pushing the quadrant round with your fingers and hope it goes in before if slips off.. again it took me about 45 mins and i was really stressed by the end of it
