do i keep my evo or move on???
what car would you buy for upto £23k ive got a 54 plate evo 8 340 mr thats just blown its second rear diff ive had it over 3 years and love it to bits but feel really disheartned this has happened again its only on 20000 miles.
i dont know if i should keep it or move onto something else trouble is i dont know what to get ideally i want an e60 m5 but im not spending 27 grand on a car im not bothered about fuel consumption as its used as a third car whatever i get cant be too small and must be at least 330bhp any ideas???

exactly thats why i dont know what to do or what to get do i keep it and risk another diff uprate at the cost 1600 - 2k or just move on 23 grand sounds like alot but i cant really think of anything id want.
As they are saying over on the MLR, you need to get your car checked asap.
Something must be wrong (transfer box sending too much power rearwards? Mismatched tyres front to rear and side to side etc) to break 2 diffs.
I've done 16k miles in mine, mainly track with countless launches, no dramas at all on any of it.
If it's you (which it doesn't sound like from your driving description) then you need an RS diff set up as per Christian above.

sold then.
if you are going to keep it,sort it out the proper way.
just like all the big power cosworth 4x4 cars, they need the proper gearboxes in then or you will be just changing then all the time...just like i was until i seen the light.
