my mate said he been offered a good engine freashly built by last owner so he bought it £350 and payed by cheque and the bloke let him take it before checked cleared
i took the head off and notice marks on the bores so further i delved in so much so the engine was totally stripped and all the pistons had lumps falling off them around by the rings
he was gutted not as much as the bloke who sold it though ,my mate cancelled the cheque

well all the pistons where like this had to tap 2 on the sides before they fell out in bits
the marks on the bore wiped away once pistons where out and the honing looks like it was done yesterday
my mate has phoned the guy and been around his house to tell him the story on the cheque
i would say the boost was to high and the lack of a setup as there was signs of bad deting on the tops of pistons and head
would of liked to have heard it running must of sound like a bag of spanners in a washing machine
