Default people on coilovers.advice please.

how far should the threaded rod at the top of the strut come up through the suspension tops on the front.mines seem to have came through about 50mm when i lowered the car down??i put the top hat on underneath and no nut and then just up through the suspension top and obviously the nut at the top.should there be a nut underneath to stop it coming right through if yous get what i mean??

Yes, I missed that out. There is a nut to hold the whole assembly together prior to fitting it to the car. That is from the original set-up and goes on after the top mount.
