Thanks
jammerrs av decided the intercooler will be staying like that reason being bought the airtec turbocooler
I think it looks cool as f**k, like the way ur intercooler sits centerd. I wanted that but never wanted the fan in frount thats why i went for the airtec intercooler.
One vent was cracked but got new ones now

i think widemouthed bumpers need the bonnet extended over the lights and the badge smoothed off - its OTT so need to go the whole hog to get it right
My 90-spec is cut out slightly but i've smoothed the sides and curved them back into the contours of the bumper.
will get pics up when i'm finished it

Got to say I'm not a fan either just looks like it's shocked at having something poked up its bottom. Somethink like Jambo above or Smila is far more in keeping with the car. Just my opinion though and you did ask

Mine's is very similar to Jamie's
that's where i got the inspiration to cut out the reggy plate thing, didn't realise you had done the bottom part too, same as mine's again

As said previously, this 'wide mouth' job was carried out years ago... and even back then i didnt like it, sorry. I can see where it helps and in that sense its a good mod, but it still takes the look away from the car.
Different people have different tastes and Im not knocking anyone who has done it to theres.
Twins's version gets my vote

Not a fan of a full cutout either, purely cos i don't like the look of it tbh. Bottom/top bar removed on mine but retained the middle section.

Such a shame that all these 90 spec bumpers are being hacked to bits
although i must say, the way twins has modified his is top notch.
The 88 spec one above looks like its been hacked at with a circular saw.
The one in 1st pic looked much better IMO

Not be many left soon. I remember buying a new one back in 2001 from Ford for £192 in grey primer.
