as above, ive just helped my mate fit his new engine in his S2 rs turbo but when we went to time it up it wouldnt start, we checked a few things and then found that we didnt have a spark, we checked a few things, new dizzy, arm but then we ran out of time.

could anyone point me in the right direction on what to look at please,

Check your coil mate make sure its wired up properly, check HT leads / plugs / dizzy cap / imobiliser?

 

i have changed the coil and still nothink,gin to see if i got power to the coil,if i havent what else could it be??

 

Does it have an immobiliser? Check your dizzy is connected up? where have u checked for the spark mate

 

i found the problem it was one of the green wires had a break in it

 

all sorted now and up and running
