Has it been done yet?
I've been checking through a couple of sites for bike based V8 engines and would have thought someone would have done a V8 YB by now.

It would need loads of one off bits and there may be an issue with running the cams backwards on the right hand head, but there are some clever buggers out there.

Why would you bother?
Plenty of V8 engine out there already if thats what you want to use.
No point joining together 2 heavy old pintos.
2 x bike engines make more sense due to the light weight etc.
But they've been attempting to perfect that for 10 years now!
Takes alot more than just a clever bugger!

Sounds like a job for someone to layout a full size drawing in a sheet of plywood, than 3 hours later that evening realise it would not fit in a Sierra/Saph/Es Cos engine bay because the V8 YB ZOO engine would be 8" - 10" too wide (with manifolds/turbo's fitted

Just about *anything* is possible if you have deep enough pockets BUT, just because something is technically feasible doesn't make it a good idea
The real question is why build something like that when you could buy a DFR or an HB for probably similar $$$ and have a known/proven package
