Im wanting to throw my old mfi management in the bin.
Can people give me some info as to the best management to go for and what ill be getting and any general info and a rough price to have the conversion done. Iv allready been recommended omex? nice 1 me howds

 

I have had 2 escort rs turbos converted run megasquirt+edis4 ignition system and i have been very very pleased with the ms efi. Price/value top. If you can install it for youself and get some ford efi parts from breaker it would not cost much. Ke-jet belongs to bin, youre correct. I know there is much better but much higher priced managment systems available too.

I run an omex 600 ecu and am happy with it, everyone has their own opinion on aftermarket management on here though, cossie management is a favourite for a lot of people. I'd have a think about who you're gonna get to map the car and ask their advice as to what to go for imo.

Give them a ring and see what they say, all mappers have a preferred management that they like/find easy to map. Not all tuners can or will map every management system.

 

I think rstdave is bang on. Ask your tuner what he is most used to/prefers. If he said he is more familiar with OMEX then you have your answer.

i have cosworth managment found it great completely changed the car. I chose this coz you just have to look at how many cosworths are still on the road today and they work fine ! but as said above theres plenty of good after market options around just check if your tuner can mapp it ?!
