Default Saph boot, water inside

Opened the boot on the saph the other day and a shit load of rain water poured out from inside the boot lid.

Is that normal? Was even comming out the latch bit.

It's your rear spoiler mate

Mine does it on the left side (passenger), its coming through the spoiler

When you open the boot, the inside top of teh boot is damp & full of condensation

Lights are easy to do, boot seal is easy to do........

But the boot spoiler, just make sure you have someone to help you, as the boot will spring open, & expect the unexpected when taking the spoiler off

I know this aint the best thing, specially if your going to paint anywhere near it in the future, but silicone bathroom sealant [clear stuff] will seal it a treat

Check your drainage holes are clear on bottom lip of boot lid

Even with water leaking in round spoiler it should drain threw these holes

Seems strange but both saph's I've owned have had only 1 of the drain holes clear,
there are 3 or 5 holes there but only 1 clear

Drill the others out and give a good coat of wax-oil from the inside
