Default Cossie Brakes

Hi,

I just fitted Cossie 4-pots with 283mm discs to my S2. I now need new wheels as the sandard dog legs dont fit. I was wondering whether anyone knows whether Compomotive MO 5 spokes which measure 16x7.5" with an ET of 35 would fit over the caliper. If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Rob

Hi,

I have the 15" RS wheels. The size isn't really the issue as the caliper fits underneath the wheel but the back face of the spokes scrape on the outside edge of the caliper. I have had to spece the wheels out by 16mm and grind a small amount off the inside face of the alloys to make them fit. As you can imagine this isn't the perfect sollution. I really want Compomotive Mo's as these look great on Mk4's but cant find anyone who can tell me whether the spokes would clear the calipers.

I was a bit gob smacked when I tried to fit the wheel after fitting the brakes. I shaved 4mm off of the mounting face of the caliper. I drilled the holes on the caliper out a bit and tapped the holes in the hub instead of using a nut and bolt. But the standard RS Turbo wheels will not clear the outer face of the caliper.
